Thanks to a "thank you" gift certificate from Edna, today we enjoyed the Sunday lunch buffet at the Ramada Inn's restaurant (part of the thermal springs complex)!! Although Edna intended it as "a date for two", we invited Zach to share the experience with us. That we finally had a Sunday without any commitments was truly amazing! We'd been anticipating this special meal for a long time.

Instead of the complimentary glass of champagne, we preferred the refreshment of orange juice.
We don't have photos of everything we ate (too focused on eating, I guess), but John's appetizer is shown above. The salad bar was fabulous!
Becky's main dish
John's main dish (hmm. . . his first one!) We don't have a photo of Zach's choice of venison (first time for that) with Spätzle. He said it tasted very good!
Becky's dessert (hmm. . .her first!) She went back for lots of pineapple and strawberries.
Thomas, we thought of you when we saw all the decorative exotic fruits.
