Surprise Snow!!!

This past Saturday we were greeted with falling snow, which continued steadily throughout the day and into the night.

Since John was driving to Reutlingen on Sunday, he decided to put the winter tires on the car (had to manage without his trusty assistant Zach).

The red spots in the photo are our neighbor's roses.

Here's the raspberry patch.

This is Sunday morning!

According to the German weather service, this is the first time in decades for Germany to have such a heavy snowfall in October.

Such a radical drop in temperature only comes every 30 to 40 years!

After John preached in Reutlingen, he visited a couple who attended our church for a few years while they were student teaching.  They now live near Reutlingen and just had a baby in September.

Here are some scenes from their area!
