Guests: Wilfried and Grace GO Team

Wilfried stopped by on his way to a retreat for missionaries. He's on a month-long vacation in Germany.

John was at the Stuttgart airport, waiting for the team's arrival from Paris.

Plane on time, and all the luggage arrived as well!

Kip Cone, team leader and former colleague, and some of the Grace students

At the far right is a German young woman, who came to the airport to greet the Grace gal next to her. The Grace student knew her in the U.S. as a high school exchange student.

Welcoming evening spread

Some of the host families joined us.

In addition to the team's visits to English classes in local schools, they've been a part of special events - Friday night game evening for our youth, the young adults and the Grace team

Practicing music for the Sunday services

Salome joins us, while her parents are preparing the meal for the team.

Daniel, Nadine and baby Grace cooking in the church kitchen.

Baby Grace!

Kolsters had a very frustrating experience trying to boil water for noodles (took about 1 1/2 hours), because the church stove was "dying". Daniel resolved to care for the situation immediately following the meal. He went to Media Markt and purchased a stove and promptly installed it.

Setting up for our English film evening - we showed "The Blind Side" on Saturday evening.

After the film (around 11 pm), the young people set up the ping-pong table for more action.

Kip shared an animated Bible message

And we had a coffee time following the afternoon English church service. (This was only part of the spread - some amazing tortes were being cut in the kitchen!)

I like the stove anecdote. The Kolsters are people of action! I am sure anyone who has ever tried to cook in that kitchen will be thrilled. I am and I'm not even there to use it!
