Just wanted to show that my attention to my orchid plants has indeed produced results.
Even more blooms have opened since this picture. This plant has special meaning for us - Dietmar Gross gave it to us the first time he came to visit us.
The blossom looks like it has eyes and a gentle dragon-like face (or alien type features)!
I'm thankful for a few hours to work on my quilt.
I finished one quarter of the quilt before Christmas. And today I completed the last quarter.
Secluded in my own little world downstairs, just sewing and following the Today Show, Meet the Press, and other current events.
The four quarters positioned, waiting to be sewn together.
The quilt has several borders to be added, so it's still very much in progress.
